About Us: Master Facilitator Shana Ring
Shana Ring, President of Destination Leadership, focuses on providing coaching training, one-on-one coaching, and consulting in the area of coaching, succession planning, leadership development and organizational effectiveness.
Shana Ring is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). She completed her coach training through Royal Roads University’s Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching and Corporate Coach U’s Core Essentials Coach Training Program.
She has a Master of Arts Degree in Leadership & Training from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Regina. She is also certified in numerous tools including Proscinew, MBTI, EQ-I and EQ-360, EXPEDITION Coaching, Crucial Conversations, Legacy Leadership, Organizational Culture Inventory, Coaching Clinic, among others. Shana is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP).
Since 2007, Shana Ring has been providing one-on-one coaching and consulting services, and designing, developing and delivering coaching training to organizations (and public sessions) throughout Saskatchewan, under her business Insightful Coaching and Consulting.
In 2010, Shana founded Destination Leadership Inc. and the EXPEDITION Coaching™ Program. The program is based on extensive research and incorporates the most current and innovative coaching techniques. The program features custom-designed videos that support the program. The videos illustrate real-life coaching scenarios. Other features include the GUIDE Coaching™ Model, DIRECT Feedback Model, Coaching Relationship Compass (Trust) Model, and case studies. This program is available as a two-day workshop and a 4-day Certified Facilitator workshop, both in-house and public.
Shana is an Instructor of the Coaching & Mentoring Employees Workshop in the University of Regina's Professional Leadership Certificate Program through the Centre for Continuing Education. Shana is an Associate with Corporate Coach U (a global coach training company) and is a Master Facilitator of The Coaching Clinic Licensing Program and travels throughout North America to facilitate the 4-day train-the-trainer. Shana was a Regional Manager for Corporate Coach U from 2007 through 2010.

Shana brings over 20 years of overall work experience, and spent almost 14 years working at SaskPower in Human Resources specializing in Organizational Development leading culture change, developing succession planning and leadership development programs, and facilitating organizational effectiveness. She has coached and consulted with individuals and teams in both management and unionized environments including executives, managers/supervisors and professional staff, and technical staff including engineers, trades and technologists, and shift-workers.
Board & Volunteer Roles
Shana is a founding member and Vice-President of the Prairie Professional Coaches Association (PPCA) – a Saskatchewan International Coach Federation (ICF) Chapter (www.icf-sask.org). She is a member and Board Member (currently serving as Chair) for the Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan (www.womenentrepreneurs.sk.ca), as well as a Saskatchewan Association of Human Resource Professionals (SAHRP) member. Shana is a past Director with SAHRP and a past Mentor in the SAHRP Mentoring Program. Shana also has supported and volunteered with Dress for Success.
